Allan Lovern, PhD, DNP, CRNA, FNP is an Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director for the Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of Southern Mississippi. His passion centers on promoting wellness in both anesthesia education and clinical practice. He has coauthored an integrative review on nurse educator burnout and strategies to support faculty well-being, and his recent study on nature-based mindfulness and its impact on depression, anxiety, and stress among anesthesia residents has been accepted for publication in the AANA Journal.
