Dr. Jessica Ann Hessel, CRNA is the Director of Clinical Education and the Assistant Program Director for the Nurse Anesthesia Program at Drexel University. Dr. Hessel earned her MSN in Nurse Anesthesia and later her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Drexel University, where her scholarly work focused on mindfulness-based stress reduction for healthcare professionals and the prevalence of the second victim phenomenon in anesthesia practitioners. Prior to her career in nursing, Dr. Hessel studied Anthropology, where she lived with and studied the Old Order Amish of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
